Making a gift to NISGUA is a powerful way to take part in the struggle for self-determination, for truth and justice in the face of cruel crimes against humanity, and for the right of Indigenous peoples to their ancestral lands.
For over 45 years, we’ve accompanied social movements in Guatemala and coordinated political education and activism in the U.S., contributing to cross-border movements to challenge imperialism, capitalism, and state violence, while building toward social justice and liberation.
Your gift allows us to build on this legacy in a critical moment. By making a gift, you join hundreds of individuals and organizations across the U.S. and around the world whose generosity and commitment have collectively shaped and sustained our work for decades.
Your donations are tax-deductible! Tax ID: 52-1650978.
Prefer to mail a check? We welcome gifts by mail. Please make checks payable to NISGUA and send them to:

Donate through investments
Your portfolio can fund the struggle. Giving appreciated stocks, donor-advised funds, or IRA distributions maximizes your impact while reducing your taxes.
Donor-advised funds (DAFs) offer some of the most favorable tax benefits available, with the flexibility to support the causes you care about, on your timeline. Already have a DAF? Use the widget to donate directly from your institution through our website. If your institution isn’t listed, contact NISGUA, or simply give our EIN (52-1650978) to your fund administrator to schedule a gift.
If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift to NISGUA directly from your IRA. Talk to your tax professional or IRA administrator to learn more about the advantages of giving through your retirement account, and contact NISGUA to arrange your gift.
NISGUA accepts donations of appreciated stocks and bonds, one of the most tax-efficient ways to give. Speak with your tax professional about the benefits, then contact NISGUA to arrange a transfer to our brokerage account.
Planned giving
The struggle is multi-generational. So is your solidarity. Include NISGUA in your will or estate plans and help carry this fight into the next generation.
For generations, communities have been fighting for social justice in creative and resilient ways. We are in this for the long haul and are counting on the fact that the relationships that we strengthen and the work that we carry out as a network will outlast us. Planned giving allows our supporters to include NISGUA in their will, to ensure ongoing support of our work.
